It’s very important for performers to be aware of the opportunities online. We’re in the process of completing a guide that gives an overview to the facilities online and the ways in which you can boost your online visibility and make it easier for Casting Directors and Agents to see examples of your work.
Here’s a little taster, taken from the introduction:
Having an online presence now is not only a useful marketing tool for performers but an absolute necessity.
In this time on the planet there is no better way of networking with people than the internet – so it is staggering that more performers are not using the opportunity to create more of a ‘presence’ online.
Some feel that it is enough to just appear on Spotlight and a few other subscription websites and their agent will take care of the rest. Arguably, in some cases – this may be true and these performers are getting a steady flow of work and feel no need to expand and promote themselves to new people online.
The fact is, that creating a good online presence doesn’t take much time – it can actually be hassle free and the initial setup can take place quickly, you’ll be learning a thing or two and once you’ve learned the skills you’ll be able to implement them gradually over a space of time.
This will be available as a digital download/e-book on our website at some point next week. It will cost the same as a single itunes track – just 99p!
